What we are
PenTesting.org is a neutral, independent directory of penetration testing companies. We compile real firms from public sources, link each accreditation to the public record it came from, and let you compare them by service, accreditation, and size — so choosing a provider is based on checkable facts rather than whoever ranks their own service page highest.
What we are not
We are not a penetration testing firm — we don’t sell testing or employ testers. We are not an accreditation body or association, and we are not affiliated with CREST, the NCSC, OWASP, the PCI SSC, or ISO. We confer no credentials. When we report that a firm holds an accreditation, we are repeating what a public register shows, and we link it so you can check.
Why an independent directory
Most search results for “best penetration testing companies” are vendors ranking themselves, and the official schemes are gated member registries with no way to compare firms side by side. A buyer choosing a testing partner deserves a neutral place to compare providers on the things that actually matter — accreditation, methodology, and fit — which is the gap this directory exists to fill.
How we stay neutral
Editorial order is never for sale. Any commercial arrangement — a labelled featured placement, a referral — is kept strictly separate from the data and the ranking, as set out in our methodology and editorial standards.
